Well, it's just past Thanksgiving for my family. I got to see cousins I don't see but only once a year. Mostly, I haven't gotten to raid for about a week. Crunching time for school really sucks, but I got back to town today.
I've actually been watching my cousin play Bloon Tower Defense 4 for most of the day, and I have to say that it's quite addicting. Especially without WoW or Facebook. You notice the small things.
I got on today at about 2330 to do the Turkey Day dailies and get some more Turkey Shooters. Nasty rogues need to not stealth in Dalaran so I can turn you into delicious, flightless birds. Dorf rogues...grumblegrumblegrumble.
Other than the normal WoW woes, I turned 23 yesterday. I feel old and young at the same time. Out of all my cousins that I see once a year, I am the second oldest to my older brother, who is 25.5. I did find out that this girl I've been talking to a lot is my third cousin (maybe fourth cousin) once removed. It's been a strange weekend, to say the least.
I am waiting up most of the night though. Not in the lines for Black Friday, but so I can get this netbook. I haven't had a laptop in my entire college career and so it's been tough to do things when I'm not at my computer.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and if you didn't, I hope the best achievements and loot for you.

And so it begins...
I've been looking for some sort of blogging home where my ramblings might be read, and I'm lucky that my best friend/roommate/WoW [tank/dps] bud decided we could do it jointly, seeing as how he's a magnet on twitter for people seeing his Emirethius's twitter.
I should probably introduce myself: my name is Mike. I am a grammar Nazi and pun-maker. I probably will never change because it makes life interesting to read things in a different light than what was normally intended. I go to school at UNT and I'm about to get my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, then I can go make video games! I play WoW during a lot of the week to raid and not a lot on the weekends because I love hanging out with friends. Metalcore/Post-hardcore is my music of choice, but I listen to just about anything (I got a Johnny Cash fit the other day).
Kaldreth is my Discipline Priest. Before you make fun of the gear, know that I itemize exactly like a hitless ranged dps without spirit. I've been around different servers with this character since WoW started 5 years ago. I've taken a multitude of breaks, ranging from 2 weeks to 6 months, and I've been an avid player since WotLK came out last November. I tried gearing out a mage, but I stopped shortly after Ulduar came out to regear my healer as there was a massive shortage (and a burst in the DK population). I'm leveling up a shaman for my dps, so I can drop shadow (I'll try it out for a bit in 3.3 and see how that dot haste works out for us). He's enhance and I don't have a second spec for him yet.
I like to bubble and I thoroughly enjoy explaining to the raid leader why that piece of gear with hit on it is better than what I have on at the moment. Deal with it.
Anyways, I have extensive raid experience as well, and I've been guild hopping for a while now. I can't seem to find a home that has a good raid time for me.
So... ya. There's my intro, Joe. Deal with it.

Welcome to Penance and Polymorph!
I'll be your host, Emirethius, so let me tell you a bit about myself. In west Philadelphia, I was born and raised...wait, that was someone else.
I'm the "Polymorph" in "Penance and Polymorph". Emirethius is the name, I'm a Virgo, I enjoy long walks in the park, cool winter days, and blowing up bosses as Arcane.
I've been a mage since the start of Wrath, my first max level character was a Shadow Priest that I hit most of BC content with, stopping mid-T6, when I re-rolled into the arts of mageiness. Right about the same time that Wrath came out, Emi hit 70, so it was perfect for leveling alongside the rest of my server at the time, Detheroc. I leveled him up, and promptly got into a Naxx25 guild back when it was hard. (lawl) Shortly thereafter I swapped to a DK main, Rozbez, shelving Emi for a while. I hopped around servers, before coming to my current home, Destromath, whose motto is "Destro doesn't want you." It's a marvelous, happy place, filled with friends. Alright, I couldn't keep a straight face for that line, I recently saw someone say in trade "wow. this server is where all the assholes of WoW come to play." But it's a home.
I have raiding experience through all current content, except for hardmodes, as I'm a bit of a casual. Full time school and work will do that to you.
Also, I tend to get long winded, since writing is something I actually find enjoyable. Soon, your other host, Kaldreth, will introduce himself. Expect lame grammar jokes and words of Priestly wisdom.
Also, you can always find me on twitter, http://twitter.com/emirethius
